Timezones and privacy for Availability Links

The schedule timezone determines how weekly windows and date overrides map to real instants. The page timezone is the link’s owner-facing display context. Web updates them together; mobile exposes them separately.

The public page detects the invitee’s browser timezone, displays that timezone, and reloads slots when it differs from the initial response. During daylight-saving transitions, local starts that do not exist are skipped. Confirm the final timestamp shown before booking, especially when organizer and invitee are in different regions.

Conflict checks use private Event and scheduled Task timing, but the public response does not expose their titles, descriptions, calendars, or Task-list details. An invitee sees only that a time is unavailable.

The current conflict check is based on exact start and end times. Do not rely on an all-day Event alone to block a booking date; add an unavailable date override when the entire day must be closed.

Information intentionally shown on the booking page can include your display or business name, avatar or cover image URL, theme color, service details, appointment description, location instructions, and cancellation message. Form responses and contact details are visible to the link owner in booking management. Publish and collect only what is appropriate for that audience.

For Private links or email and domain allowlists, Harmonise checks the signed-in account identity. A typed form email does not satisfy access control.
