Before you begin

  • An Availability Link and the calendars that should block time

In Rules, enable Respect busy calendar events and Respect tasks for the sources that should remove booking times. Enable Treat tentative events as busy if tentative Events must block too.

Harmonise checks non-cancelled timed Events from selected blocking calendars. When Task conflicts are enabled, scheduled Tasks with a start and end can block unless they are done, cancelled, or archived. Buffers are included in the overlap test. Private Event and Task titles are never returned on the public page.

Platform differences

  • Web provides a named calendar checklist. IDs for missing calendars remain visible so you can remove stale selections.
  • Mobile currently accepts blocking calendar IDs as a comma-separated value. Copy IDs carefully; an unknown ID cannot match a calendar.
  • Web preserves existing Task-list filters but does not provide a friendly Task-list picker. Use all tasks clears those filters. Mobile does not expose a Task-list filter field.

After changing calendars, Task lists, or conflict toggles, preview the link and test a known busy period. If an expected block is missing, confirm that the Event is timed, the Task has an exact schedule, and the relevant source is selected.
