Choose calendars from a connected account

A connected account can contain primary, shared, delegated, subscribed, holiday, and project calendars. Harmonise lists each one separately after discovery.

On mobile

1. Open Settings > Calendars.
2. Choose Edit.
3. For each external calendar, choose whether it is visible and whether Sync is enabled. The sync control may be shown as Enable sync or Disable sync.
4. Choose an eligible, writable calendar as the default if needed.
5. Reorder calendars with the available order controls.
6. Choose Save.

On web

1. Open Settings and find Calendars.
2. Choose Edit.
3. Use Visible and the Sync control for each external calendar.
4. Choose Set Default for an eligible, writable calendar.
5. Use the move-up and move-down controls to change order.
6. Choose Save.

Understand the choices

• Visible means the calendar participates in normal views and filters.
• Hidden removes it from normal planning views. A hidden calendar can keep Sync enabled and continue receiving provider Event updates.
• Sync enabled means Harmonise continues receiving supported provider changes for that calendar. Sync off stops those updates for that calendar without disconnecting the account.
• Read-only means the provider did not grant edit access. It can provide planning context, but it cannot receive Event or Task changes.
• Default is the preferred calendar in creation flows that use a calendar default. Standalone Tasks still require a calendar to be selected or supplied by the screen where they are created. Changing the default affects future choices and does not move existing Events or Tasks.
• Primary describes the provider’s primary calendar. It does not automatically make that calendar the Harmonise default.

Provider-selected or primary calendars may be visible after discovery. Review the result rather than assuming every discovered calendar is shown.

Destination and appearance

When the mapping control is available, choose the Harmonise calendar used as the destination for synchronized Events. Only eligible Harmonise calendars can be selected; read-only subscriptions cannot be destinations. Changing the destination does not rename or move the provider calendar. External calendar names and colours are controlled by the provider. Change an external calendar’s name or colour in Google Calendar, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, or the CalDAV service, then choose Refresh calendars in Harmonise. Only calendars created in Harmonise can be renamed or recoloured in Harmonise.

When the provider list changes

Choose Refresh calendars after the provider adds, removes, renames, shares, or changes access to a calendar. Then review Visible, Sync, mapping, default, and order again. A removed provider calendar may remain visible until the refreshed account state is loaded; do not recreate its Events while the refresh is running.
