Integrate external calendars and subscriptions

Calendar integrations let you connect calendars you already use, including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, and compatible CalDAV services.

Once connected, your existing calendar Events can appear alongside your Harmonise Events and Tasks.

Choose an integration type

• Direct provider account: Connect Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, or a compatible CalDAV server for ongoing synchronization. Supported Event writes depend on the provider and the access it grants.
• ICS URL subscription: Follow an ICS calendar URL. Updates arrive periodically, and subscribed Events remain read-only.
• Recommended calendar: Add a verified public calendar from the recommended catalog. It is read-only and updates automatically.
• ICS file import: Copy Events from an .ics file once. The imported copies become Harmonise data and do not stay connected to the file.

Connect a provider account

On mobile, open Settings > Calendars and find Calendar integrations. On web, open Settings and find Calendar integrations. The available provider cards are Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, and CalDAV.

You can connect multiple provider accounts when your current plan allows it. The same plan allowance is shared across direct provider accounts, including accounts from different providers. Harmonise may prevent Add another account when the allowance is reached. If a plan change reduces the allowance, an existing connection can be paused rather than deleted; its provider calendars and Events remain with the provider. Review the account cards and keep the connection you need active.

After connecting

Harmonise verifies the account, discovers its calendars, and shows an account card with its identity, status, and calendar counts. Discovery may take a moment. In Calendars, choose Edit to set Visible or Hidden, turn provider Sync on or off, choose an eligible default, and change the order shown in supported selectors.

Each external calendar can also have a destination calendar in Harmonise for synchronized Events. When the mapping control is available, choose an eligible Harmonise calendar; this does not rename or move the calendar at the provider. See Map an external calendar to Harmonise.

Use Refresh calendars when the provider’s calendar list or permissions change. Use Sync now when Events in an existing, sync-enabled calendar are stale. Read-only calendars provide planning context; writable calendars can receive supported Event creates, edits, or deletions. On web, writable Events can be edited from the Event inspector, while read-only Events cannot.

Keep provider data separate

External calendar names and colours are controlled by Google, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, or the CalDAV service. Change them at the provider, then choose Refresh calendars in Harmonise. Only calendars created in Harmonise can be renamed or recoloured in Harmonise.

To stop one calendar receiving provider updates, turn its Sync setting off. To stop the complete provider account, choose Disconnect on that account card. Disconnecting one account does not disconnect another account from the same provider.
