Connecting Outlook Calendar lets Harmonise discover calendars from a Microsoft account and use their Events in planning views. Writable calendars can receive supported Event changes.
Before you begin
Personal Microsoft accounts and supported work or school accounts can use the sign-in flow. An organization may require administrator approval or block third-party calendar consent.
You can connect multiple provider accounts when your current plan allows it. Google, Outlook, Apple, Yahoo, and CalDAV accounts share the direct-account allowance. The interface may prevent adding another account at the plan limit. If a plan change reduces the allowance, an existing connection can be paused rather than deleted; its provider calendars and Events remain with Microsoft. Review the account cards and keep the connection you need active.
On mobile
- Open Settings > Calendars.
- Under Calendar integrations, choose Connect Outlook Calendar.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account you want to connect.
- Review and approve the calendar access.
- Return to Harmonise and wait for the Outlook Calendar account card.
Cancelling sign-in creates no connection.
On web
- Open Settings.
- Under Calendar integrations, choose Connect Outlook Calendar.
- Complete Microsoft sign-in and consent in the provider window.
- Let the window return to Harmonise, then wait for the connection and calendars to reload.
After connecting
The account card shows Outlook Calendar, the connected identity when available, and a status such as Pending, Connected, Error, Revoked, or Paused by plan. The account may initially show Pending while Harmonise verifies the connection and discovers calendars.
In Calendars, choose Edit to set Visible or Hidden, turn Sync on or off, and choose Save. Use the connected account card’s mapping controls separately when you need to choose a destination. See Manage connected calendars and Map an external calendar to Harmonise.
Microsoft controls an external calendar’s name and colour. Change them in Outlook, then choose Refresh calendars in Harmonise. Only calendars created in Harmonise can be renamed or recoloured in Harmonise.
Harmonise can synchronize supported Event details where the Microsoft account has edit permission. Read-only calendars cannot receive changes. Writable Outlook Events can be created, edited, or deleted from Harmonise; on web, choose Edit event from a writable Event. Recurring changes may ask which occurrences to change, and provider permissions can limit the choices.
Use Refresh calendars after Microsoft adds, removes, shares, or changes a calendar or permission. Use Sync now when Events in an existing, sync-enabled calendar are stale. Provider processing can delay an update.
Disconnect or repair
Choose Disconnect to stop that complete Microsoft account connection. Reconnecting the same identity repairs or reactivates it and restores its discovered calendars and Events after synchronization. If work or school consent is blocked, ask the Microsoft 365 administrator whether Harmonise calendar access is permitted.
