Use Harmonise with Telegram
Connect and configure Telegram for Harmonise commands, previews, notifications, and daily summaries.
Before you begin
- A signed-in Harmonise account
- Telegram on a device where you can open or copy the linking command
- A Harmonise environment with Telegram messaging enabled
Connect Harmonise to Telegram to plan your day without switching between apps.
Once connected, you can create events and tasks, check what is coming up, complete tasks, and receive selected Harmonise updates directly in your Telegram chat.

Connect Telegram
You can connect Telegram from your Harmonise settings using the connection command.
The connection command is temporary and can only be used once. If it expires, return to Harmonise and generate a new one.
Do not share your connection command with anyone else.
On mobile
- Open Settings in Harmonise.
- Select Messaging integrations.
- Select Connect Telegram.
- Choose Open Telegram, or copy the connection command if you want to open Telegram manually.
- Send the connection command to the Harmonise bot.
- Return to Harmonise and select Check connection if the connection has not updated automatically.
Upon success connection
Once connected, your Telegram settings will appear under Messaging integrations.
Create events and tasks
There are several ways to add something to Harmonise from Telegram.
Follow the guided prompts
For the easiest way to create something, use:
- /create_task to create a task
- /create_event to create an event
Harmonise will ask you for the information it needs one step at a time.
For example, when creating an event, you may be asked for its name, calendar, date, time, location, reminders, or whether it repeats.
Before anything is added, Harmonise will show you a preview.
Choose Create to save it or Cancel if you change your mind.
You can also send /cancel at any time while creating something.
Create something in one message
If you prefer, you can use /task or /event to provide the details in a single message.
For example:
/task Buy milk /due tomorrow 6pm
Or:
/event Dentist /start tomorrow 10am /duration 1h
Harmonise will show you a preview before creating anything.
For more examples, send /help in Telegram.
Write naturally
When natural-language creation is available for your account, you can also describe what you want in an ordinary message.
For example:
Create a task to send the report by Friday at 4 PM.
Harmonise may ask a follow-up question if something is unclear. You will still be shown a preview before anything is created.
If natural-language creation is unavailable, you can always use /create_task, /create_event, /task, or /event instead.
Check your plans
You do not have to open Harmonise every time you want to see what is coming up.
See your day
Send:
/today
Harmonise will show your plans for today, including relevant events and tasks.
Depending on what is shown, you may also be able to complete a task, find time for it, refresh the list, or open it in Harmonise.
View your tasks
Send:
/tasks
This shows your active tasks, with the most relevant tasks shown first.
Where available, you can mark a task as Done directly from Telegram.
If you have more tasks than can fit in one message, use Next page to continue.
View your events
Send:
/events
This shows your upcoming events in chronological order.
For editing an event or viewing its full details, open it in Harmonise.
Telegram commands
You can send /help at any time to see the commands available to you.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /today | See today’s events and tasks |
| /tasks | View your active tasks |
| /events | View upcoming events |
| /create_task | Create a task step by step |
| /create_event | Create an event step by step |
| /task | Create a task in one message |
| /event | Create an event in one message |
| /cancel | Stop creating an event or task |
| /status | Check your Telegram connection and settings |
| /help | View available commands and examples |
| /unlink | Disconnect Telegram from Harmonise |
Commands use lowercase letters and underscores. For example, use /create_task, not /createTask.
Receive Harmonise notifications
Telegram can also be used as an additional place to receive updates from Harmonise.
You can manage these options from:
Settings → Messaging integrations → Telegram
Inbox notifications
Turn on Inbox notifications to receive selected Harmonise Inbox updates in Telegram.
Receiving the message in Telegram does not automatically mark the corresponding Inbox item as read or completed.
When an update requires more action, open Harmonise to respond to it.
Daily summary
Turn on Daily summary to receive an overview of your plans at a time you choose.
Your summary can include things such as:
- Today’s events
- Scheduled tasks
- Tasks due today
- Overdue tasks
- Relevant Inbox updates
Choose your Summary time from the Telegram settings.
The summary follows your Harmonise account timezone, so if you change timezone, check that your preferred summary time is still correct.
Your daily summary is simply another view of your Harmonise plans. It does not create additional events or tasks.
Open something in Harmonise
Some Telegram messages include an Open in Harmonise or Open action.
Use this when you want to see more information or make changes that are easier to manage in the Harmonise app.
You may need to sign in to Harmonise before the event or task can be opened.
Disconnect Telegram
To disconnect Telegram, send:
/unlink
Harmonise will ask you to confirm before disconnecting.
Disconnecting Telegram stops Telegram access and future Telegram notifications. It does not delete your Harmonise account, events, tasks, calendars, or Inbox items.
You can connect Telegram again later from Messaging integrations.
Privacy and security
Your Telegram connection is linked to your Harmonise account, so only connect the Harmonise bot from a Telegram account you control.
Keep your connection command private and do not send passwords, verification codes, API keys, financial information, or other sensitive credentials to the bot.
For actions that require more information or confirmation, Harmonise may ask you to continue in the app.
Troubleshooting
My connection command expired
Return to:
Settings → Messaging integrations → Connect Telegram
Generate a new connection command and send the new command to the Harmonise bot.
Telegram is still showing as not connected
Make sure you sent the entire connection command to the Harmonise bot.
Then return to Harmonise and select Check connection.
If the connection still does not appear, try generating a new connection command.
A command is not working
Send /help to see the currently available commands.
Also check that the command uses lowercase letters and underscores, such as /create_task.
I cannot create something using a normal message
Natural-language creation may not be available for your account or may be temporarily unavailable.
You can still create something using /create_task or /create_event.
My daily summary arrived at the wrong time
Check:
- Your Harmonise account timezone
- Your Telegram Summary time
- Whether you recently changed your timezone or Telegram settings
An Open in Harmonise button does not work
Open Harmonise directly and find the event or task there.
You may also need to sign in again before the item can be opened.
