This page focuses on calendar and Event display. For the profile setting, travel behavior, and Task timezones, see Timezones.
Timed Events
A timed Event is created with a timezone and exact start and end moments. Its Event timezone remains fixed after creation so recurrence and provider matching stay stable. Harmonise can display the same moment at a different clock time when your resolved profile timezone changes.
If a connected Event appears at the wrong hour, compare the Event’s timezone at the provider with the Harmonise profile timezone. Then use Sync now for its connected account after correcting the provider source when necessary.
All-day Events
An all-day Event uses dates rather than clock times. It remains attached to its Event date instead of shifting by an hour when daylight-saving rules or the display timezone changes.
Calendar timezone information
A connected calendar can carry provider timezone information, but the current calendar settings screens do not offer a separate timezone editor for each calendar. Change the account-level preference in Settings. Change provider-specific calendar or Event timezone information at the provider, then refresh or synchronize the connected account.
Use a named location rather than a fixed offset when selecting an account timezone so future daylight-saving changes can be applied correctly.
