Choose the right action
These actions have different effects:
- Filter out a calendar to remove it from Home on one device.
- Hide a connected calendar to remove it from normal selection and combined views.
- Turn Sync off for an external calendar to stop its provider updates without disconnecting the account.
- Delete an eligible Harmonise calendar from your account.
- Disconnect to revoke an entire provider account connection.
Start with the least permanent action that solves the problem.
Hide a connected calendar
On mobile, open Settings > Calendars, choose Edit, use the calendar’s visibility control, then choose Save.
Hiding does not delete provider Events or stop updates. A hidden external calendar continues to synchronize while Sync is enabled.
Turn off synchronization for an external calendar
On mobile, open Settings > Calendars, choose Edit, turn Sync off for the external calendar, then choose Save. On web, open Settings > Calendars, choose Edit, turn Sync off, then choose Save.
Turn Sync on again and save when you want provider updates to resume. Use Disconnect only when you want to stop the complete provider account.
Delete a Harmonise calendar
On mobile, choose Edit, use the delete action beside a Harmonise calendar, then choose Save. On web, choose Edit and use the delete button.
Deletion is blocked when:
- It is the only remaining calendar.
- It still contains active Events.
- It still contains active Tasks or a recurring Task series.
Move or delete those items first. If you delete the default calendar, Harmonise promotes the first remaining visible, writable calendar.
External calendars cannot be deleted from Harmonise. Hide them, turn Sync off, or disconnect the provider account instead.
Before disconnecting
Disconnecting affects every calendar under that account and removes the connection card. If only one calendar is noisy, hide it while keeping updates or turn Sync off for that calendar.
