Calendar integration types

Harmonise supports several ways to bring calendar data into your plan. Choose based on whether you need ongoing updates, provider writes, or a one-time copy.

Which option should I use?

• Connect a direct provider account when you want Harmonise to discover the calendars in Google, Outlook, Apple, Yahoo, or a compatible CalDAV service and keep supported changes moving between the services.
• Add an ICS URL subscription when another service gives you a calendar feed to follow. Subscribed Events are read-only; pausing updates keeps the current subscribed calendar and Events.
• Choose a recommended calendar for a verified public calendar such as a holiday or community calendar. Recommended calendars are read-only and update automatically.
• Use an ICS file import when you have a file to copy once. The imported Events do not remain connected to the original file, so later changes to that file are not synchronized.

Direct provider accounts can include read-only calendars, and provider permissions decide which calendars can receive Event changes. See Manage connected calendars for visibility, synchronization, and writable Event behavior.

Harmonise does not use a subscription or imported file as the editable destination for a provider calendar. Choose an editable Harmonise calendar when the mapping control asks where synchronized Events should appear.
