Troubleshoot meeting integrations
Recover meeting-provider connections and resolve common Event, account, permission, and availability problems.
Before you begin
- A signed-in Harmonise account
- Access to the provider account or Discord server you want to reconnect
Meeting-provider controls can be visible while a provider is unavailable for the current Harmonise environment, account, or organization. Start with the shared checks below, then use the provider-specific guides for rules that only apply to Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Discord.
Connection does not start
Check:
- Your internet connection
- That you are signed in to the intended Harmonise account
- That the provider is currently available in Harmonise
- That your browser allows the provider’s pop-up or redirect during authorization
- That you are using the correct provider account
Meeting-provider controls are under Settings > Integrations > Meeting providers. Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams use Connect account; Discord uses Add to server.
Authorization was cancelled
Return to Harmonise and start the same connection again. Select the provider’s Connect account or Add to server action, complete the provider’s sign-in and authorization pages, and return to Harmonise. Cancelling authorization does not connect the account, so the provider row may continue to show its previous state.
A connected account needs attention
The provider may have lost authorization, had its permission changed, or returned an error while Harmonise was creating a meeting. If the row offers Reconnect, use it and complete the provider authorization again. If it does not, use Connect account to start a new connection.
For Discord, a server row may offer Reinstall when the Harmonise bot was removed or the installation can no longer be verified. If the existing installation cannot be recovered, select Disconnect and use Add to server again.
Meeting provider is unavailable
Availability can depend on:
- Provider rollout or configuration in the current Harmonise environment
- The connected account and its provider permissions
- Microsoft organization policy or administrator consent
- Discord server, channel, or bot permissions
- A temporary provider outage
If a provider says This provider is not configured, This provider is currently unavailable, Discord is not configured, or Discord is currently unavailable, wait for the provider to become available or choose another supported option. Harmonise cannot override provider or organization security policies.
Meeting cannot be created
Check:
- The Event has the timing the selected provider requires
- The provider account or Discord installation is still active
- The account, server, and channel permissions still allow the operation
- The Event’s duration and recurrence fit the provider’s rules
- The Event is saved while Harmonise has an internet connection
If you already have an online-meeting URL, choose Meeting link on the Event and paste its absolute HTTPS URL. A manually supplied link is stored on the Event but is not created, updated, or deleted remotely by Harmonise.
Google Meet
Google Meet authorization is separate from Google Calendar authorization. If Google Meet cannot be created, check that the intended Google account was authorized and use Reconnect if the connection needs attention. A Google Meet space may remain in Google after Harmonise stops using it; manage that space from Google when necessary.
See Connect Google Meet.
Zoom
Zoom managed meetings require a timed Event lasting from 1 to 1,440 minutes. If a repeat rule is rejected, simplify it to a supported daily, weekly, or monthly shape. Also check Zoom account permissions or plan restrictions before retrying.
See Connect Zoom.
Microsoft Teams
Managed Teams creation requires a Microsoft work or school account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for managed creation. If Microsoft shows Approval required, Need admin approval, or similar wording, contact the organization’s Microsoft administrator. Also check that Teams online meetings are available for that organization and reconnect with the correct account.
Discord
Discord troubleshooting usually comes down to four checks:
- You own the server or have Manage Server permission.
- Harmonise is installed in that server and the bot has not been removed.
- The default channel is an existing voice or stage channel that Harmonise can view and connect to.
- The Event enables Create temporary invite, Create Discord scheduled event, or both.
If a server does not appear, check the Discord account and server-management permission. If a channel does not appear or cannot be saved, check channel- specific permission overwrites. Invite creation needs Create Instant Invite; an Event that is too far in the future may exceed the supported invitation lifetime. Scheduled events can require different permissions for voice and stage channels.
If you need to copy the channel value again, follow the Channel ID steps in Connect Discord.
Disconnect and reconnect
For a normal recovery, use Reconnect on the affected provider row when it is available. If the row is unusable, select Disconnect, confirm, and connect the account again. This keeps the recovery flow visible in Harmonise and lets you choose the correct provider account.
For Discord, disconnect the server installation in Harmonise before removing the Harmonise bot from Discord. If the bot was already removed, use Reinstall or Reconnect after restoring the installation.
