Before you begin

  • A Google account with Calendar access

Connecting Google Calendar lets Harmonise discover calendars in a Google account, display their Events, and send supported Event changes where Google grants edit access.

Before you begin

Be ready to sign in on Google’s page and review the requested calendar access. Harmonise does not ask you to type your Google password into Harmonise.

You can connect multiple provider accounts when your current plan allows it. Google, Outlook, Apple, Yahoo, and CalDAV accounts share the direct-account allowance. If the interface says another account is unavailable, check the account cards and your current plan before disconnecting anything. A plan change can pause an existing connection without deleting its provider calendars or Events.

On mobile

  1. Open Settings > Calendars.
  2. Under Calendar integrations, choose Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Choose a Google account, review the access request, and approve it.
  4. Return to Harmonise and wait for the Google Calendar account card to appear.

If you close or cancel the Google flow, no connection is created. Start it again once when you are ready.

On web

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Calendar integrations, choose Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Complete Google sign-in and approve the requested access.
  4. Let the provider window return to Harmonise. The Settings page reloads the connection and calendar list.

After connecting

The account card shows the Google identity and a status such as Pending, Connected, Error, Revoked, or Paused by plan. The account may initially show Pending while Harmonise verifies the connection and discovers calendars.

Review individual calendars under Calendars, choose Edit, set Visible or Hidden, turn Sync on or off, and choose Save. Use the connected account card’s mapping controls separately when you need to choose a destination. See Manage connected calendars and Map an external calendar to Harmonise.

Google controls an external calendar’s name and colour. Change them in Google Calendar, then choose Refresh calendars in Harmonise. Only calendars created in Harmonise can be renamed or recoloured in Harmonise.

Google public holiday calendars and calendars shared with view-only access are read-only in Harmonise. Writable Google calendars can receive supported Event creates, edits, and deletions. On web, open a writable Event and choose Edit event; recurring changes may ask which occurrences to change. Exact fields depend on the Event and the access Google grants.

Use Refresh calendars when Google adds, removes, shares, or changes a calendar. Use Sync now when Events in an existing, sync-enabled calendar are stale. Provider processing can delay an update.

Disconnect or repair

Choose Disconnect on the Google account card to stop that complete account connection. If access was revoked or the card shows Error, reconnect the same Google identity and review its calendar settings again. Do not recreate an Event while a repair or synchronization is still in progress.

If Google sign-in is blocked by an organization policy, use the provider’s administrator approval flow or a Google account that can grant the requested access.
