Before you begin

This creates a calendar in Harmonise. It does not create a new calendar in Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or another external provider. To use an existing external calendar, follow the relevant connection or import workflow for a connected provider account, CalDAV, an ICS import, or an ICS subscription.

On mobile

  1. Open Settings > Calendars.
  2. Choose Edit.
  3. Under Calendar Order, choose New Calendar.
  4. Enter University, choose a blue colour, then choose Create to add the draft calendar.
  5. Review the draft calendar and choose the screen-level Save to save all calendar changes.

On web

  1. Open Settings and find Calendars.
  2. Choose Edit.
  3. Choose New Calendar.
  4. Enter University, choose a blue colour, then choose Create to add the draft calendar.
  5. Choose Save in the Calendars section to save all calendar changes.

Name and colour

Use a short name that describes the plans inside the calendar. Colour is a recognition aid in Home and Agenda; it does not change Event or Task behaviour. You can rename or recolour a Harmonise calendar later.

What happens next

After it is saved, the calendar becomes available as a destination when creating Events and standalone Tasks. Choose Set Default to make it the preferred calendar in creation flows that use your calendar default. Standalone Tasks still require a calendar to be selected or supplied by the screen where they are created. Changing the default affects future creation choices only and does not move existing Events or Tasks.

You can reorder calendars to control their order in the Home calendar dropdown and other supported calendar selectors.

Troubleshooting

  • If New Calendar is hidden, choose Edit first.
  • If the new row says Unsaved on mobile, choose the screen-level Save.
  • If saving fails, keep the editor open, restore the connection, and retry.
  • If the calendar does not appear on Home, check its visibility and the Home calendar filter.
