Delete your Harmonise account
Permanently delete your Harmonise account after completing the required ownership, email, and sign-in checks.
Before you begin
- A signed-in Harmonise account
Deleting your Harmonise account is permanent. It cannot be cancelled or restored after the deletion is accepted.
Before you start
If you own a shared group that still has another active member, transfer ownership before deleting your account. The current mobile app does not provide group-ownership management, so you may be unable to continue until the ownership requirement is resolved elsewhere.
External calendars and Events are not deleted from Google, Outlook, Apple, Yahoo, CalDAV, or another provider when you delete your Harmonise account.
Delete your account on mobile
- Open Settings > Account Security.
- Choose Delete account.
- If Harmonise reports a group-ownership blocker, transfer ownership and choose Refresh readiness before trying again.
- When the account is ready, choose Email me a deletion code.
- Open the email sent to your account and enter the six-digit code. The code expires; request a new code if necessary.
- Under Confirm your sign-in method, choose one of the eligible methods shown for your account:
- Password, then enter your current password;
- Google, then complete the Google check; or
- Apple, then complete the Apple check.
- Choose Review deletion and read the confirmation screen.
- Choose Delete account permanently.
Only sign-in methods currently linked to your account appear. If a code or sign-in check expires, fails, or has already been used, start a new challenge from the screen and complete the checks again.
What happens after confirmation
Once the request is accepted, your Harmonise account is no longer available for normal use and your signed-in sessions are revoked. Harmonise then removes private account data and cleans up shared references as part of its account-deletion process.
Deleting your Harmonise account does not delete calendars or Events stored with external providers. Manage those provider accounts separately if you no longer want them connected or available there.
If deletion is blocked
The most common blocker is shared group ownership. Transfer the affected ownership to another active member, return to the deletion screen, and choose Refresh readiness. Group ownership management is not currently available in the mobile app.
If you cannot complete the email-code or sign-in check, request a new deletion code and use a currently linked sign-in method. Do not reuse an expired or already-used code.
