Before you begin

  • A connected provider account with a discovered external calendar

An external calendar can use a destination calendar in Harmonise for its synchronized Events. The destination helps Harmonise place provider Events in your plan; it does not change the calendar at Google, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, or a CalDAV server.

Harmonise may assign an eligible destination during discovery. When the mapping control is available, you can review the current destination or choose another one.

On mobile

  1. Open Settings > Calendars.
  2. Find Calendar integrations.
  3. Open or review the relevant connected account card.
  4. Find the external calendar and its Mapped to: details.
  5. Choose one of the eligible Harmonise destination calendars.
  6. Wait for the mapping update to finish. The choice is submitted from the account card; it is not part of the main Calendars Edit and Save workflow.

If the control is still loading, wait for discovery to finish. If it reports that the current mapping is unavailable, choose another eligible Harmonise calendar when one is offered.

On web

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Find Calendar integrations.
  3. Find the relevant connected account.
  4. Locate the external calendar’s Mapping target selector.
  5. Select an eligible Harmonise calendar.
  6. Wait for the mapping update to finish. The selection is sent directly; there is no separate Save action for mapping.

The Not mapped text is a disabled placeholder when no destination is set, not a destination you can deliberately select. If the current destination is unavailable, Harmonise shows that state and offers only eligible replacement calendars.

Which calendars can be destinations?

Only an editable Harmonise calendar can be selected as a destination. A read-only calendar, an external provider calendar, a subscribed calendar, or a calendar that is still an unsaved draft is not eligible. A destination already used by another external calendar may also be unavailable in the selector.

If no eligible calendar is available, create or save a Harmonise calendar first, then return to the mapping control. See Create a Harmonise calendar.

What changing a destination does

Changing the destination changes where synchronized provider Events appear in Harmonise. It does not rename, recolour, move, or delete the provider calendar. Provider names and colours remain controlled by the provider. It also does not move existing Harmonise Events that belong to another calendar unless the normal synchronization flow updates them.

If a destination is deleted, becomes read-only, or is otherwise unavailable, the external calendar may show Current mapping unavailable and synchronized Events may pause until you choose another eligible destination. Repair the mapping, then choose Sync now if the account offers it.

The destination is separate from Visible and Sync. You can hide a calendar while keeping its synchronized data current, or turn Sync off without deleting the destination. See Manage connected calendars.
