Messaging integrations in Settings

Connect Telegram or WhatsApp where supported and control conversation commands, Inbox notifications, and daily summaries.

Before you begin

  • A signed-in Harmonise account
  • A Harmonise environment with the selected messaging provider configured

On mobile, the Messaging integrations section is inside Settings > Integrations. It lets you connect Telegram or WhatsApp when the provider is available for your Harmonise environment.

Connect a provider on mobile

  1. Open Settings > Integrations > Messaging integrations.
  2. Choose Connect Telegram or Connect WhatsApp.
  3. Choose Open Telegram or Open WhatsApp when available, or copy the displayed command.
  4. Send the complete command to the intended provider conversation before it expires. Telegram uses /start <link-token>.
  5. Return to Harmonise and choose Check connection when needed.
  6. Review the active integration settings.

Linking commands are short-lived, single-use, and private. Copying a command does not prove that the provider bot or delivery service is live. If a command expires or has already been used, create a new command rather than editing or reusing it. Direct opening depends on a configured provider destination.

Settings available after connecting

For an active provider, mobile Settings can show:

  • Create events and tasks, for natural-language planning requests through the connected messaging app;
  • Inbox notifications, for eligible Harmonise Inbox updates;
  • Daily summary, for a scheduled summary of Events, Tasks, and active Inbox items;
  • Summary time, for the local delivery time when Daily summary is on; and
  • Disconnect, to stop using the provider connection.

The available actions depend on the connected provider and current Harmonise availability. If a setting is not shown or a request cannot be completed, use the controls currently displayed in the app.

Inbox notifications

Telegram or WhatsApp is an additional delivery channel. Receiving a message does not mark an Inbox item as read, accepted, dismissed, approved, completed, or otherwise acted upon. Open Harmonise when the required action is not available or is not safe to perform in the provider conversation.

Turning off Inbox notifications or Daily summary changes delivery only. It does not delete the underlying Event, Task, or Inbox item.

Daily summaries

Enable Daily summary and select Summary time. The time uses your Harmonise timezone, and Settings can show the next scheduled summary when it is available. A summary can include relevant Events, scheduled or due Tasks, overdue work, and Inbox counts where supported.

A daily summary is a planning view, not a second copy of the calendar. Delayed delivery does not change the times saved on your Events or Tasks. Changing the account timezone can change the local time of the next delivery. The current mobile Settings screen does not expose editing for daily-summary templates.

Disconnect and reconnect

Choose Disconnect and confirm when you no longer want to use the provider conversation. Disconnecting prevents new commands and notifications through that integration, but it does not delete your Harmonise account, Events, Tasks, Inbox items, or unrelated settings.

To use the provider again, return to Messaging integrations, create a new linking command, and consume it in the intended conversation. A previous command cannot be reused.

Availability and troubleshooting

Messaging integrations remain limited. Delivery can depend on the provider connection and the current Harmonise environment.

If a provider is still pending, send the complete linking command to the correct conversation and choose Check connection again. If natural-language creation is unavailable, check the Create events and tasks switch and use the Harmonise app while the provider capability recovers. If a daily summary arrives at the wrong time, check the account timezone, saved Summary time, and the Next summary value shown in Settings.
