A displayed time is unexpected
Likely causes
The profile timezone differs from the device timezone, the item was created in another fixed timezone, or a connected provider supplied different timezone information.
What to do
Open Settings > Timezone, check whether Harmonise follows the system or a manual location, and compare that with the Event or Task timezone. Correct provider-owned information at the provider, then synchronize the account.
The device timezone changed
Likely causes
You travelled or changed the operating-system setting. Harmonise may detect a mismatch before updating a system-following profile timezone.
What to do
If you want local travel time, choose Follow system and accept the current system timezone when prompted. If you want a home or team timezone, choose it manually.
A manual timezone is still selected
Likely causes
A manual location stays fixed by design and does not follow device changes.
What to do
Open Timezone and choose Follow system, or select another manual location.
A date-only item appears on the wrong date
Likely causes
The item may have an exact time rather than a date-only value, or its Event or Task timezone differs from the profile timezone.
What to do
Inspect whether it is an all-day Event, date-only Due Date, Scheduled Date, or a timed item. Compare the item’s timezone and profile timezone. For a provider Event, correct the source at the provider when needed.
What not to do
Do not add an arbitrary clock time merely to force a date; that changes the meaning of a date-only item.
A Task fails to save because of timezone
Likely causes
The Task could not be saved with a valid timezone. Harmonise requires the intended Task timezone before creation; it does not silently fall back to UTC or repair a missing Task timezone later.
What to do
Open Settings > Timezone, confirm the profile timezone is available, then retry the Task save while connected. For a linked Task created inside an Event, confirm the Event still has a valid calendar and timezone before saving again.
A profile value cannot be edited
Likely causes
The profile has not loaded, the value fails its visible validation, another save is in progress, or the connection failed. Free/busy sharing is displayed but is not an editable profile control in the current clients.
What to do
Wait for the profile to load, use Retry after a load error, correct the visible validation issue, and save again while online. For name, username, or photo changes, use the dedicated profile editor.
A notification option is unavailable
Likely causes
The profile did not load, the device has not granted notification permission, or the notification or messaging provider is not configured in the current environment.
What to do
Reload the profile, check device permission for push notifications, and use the profile’s Email notifications or Push notifications controls when available. Configure daily summaries only inside an active messaging integration.
The Inbox is currently a preview, so notification preferences do not make every preview Inbox action a dependable live workflow.
