| Field | Effect |
|---|---|
| Minimum notice | Removes times that are too close to now. |
| Booking window | Limits how far ahead an invitee can book. |
| Start increment | Sets spacing between candidate starts; it can differ from duration. |
| Buffer before / after | Reserves extra conflict time around a booking. |
| Daily limit | Caps active bookings for a date. |
| Maximum bookings | Caps active bookings across the link. |
| Expiry | Makes the public link unavailable after the saved time. |
| Group capacity | Caps attendees sharing one start time. |
Each public request is validated again when it is submitted. A time that was visible can be rejected if another booking consumed its capacity, a blocking Event or Task appeared, or a limit was reached. The invitee should refresh and select another time after a conflict.
For Group links, total capacity and maximum guests per booking add another set of limits. Pending-approval and confirmed bookings consume capacity while active.
